I received an e-mail from someone I don’t know asking me to watch and share this short gay film. It’s called 306 by Elliot London. I’m not sure how they come up with the title but, I found the video pretty interesting so I thought of sharing it with you.

For a while, I felt disconnected to the world. When I lost my phone on All Saint’s Day, I felt that I lost my connection to the internet. My phone has been my closest company that I can lean on to. It gave me quick access to the information that I needed: latest news, email, chats, tweets, Facebook statuses etc. I rarely used my PC when I had that phone.

Here’s the story of what happened that I shared in Facebook:

Isang hindi inaasahang pangyayari ang naganap sa akin kaninang bandang alas nuwebe ng gabi. Mabilis ang mga pangyayari, hindi ko inaasahan at ako ay nagulat at nanlumo.
 
Nanakaw ang aking telepono sa bus na sinasakyan ko pauwi ng Makati. Isang lalaking ni hindi ko namukhaan ang humablot ng aking telepono habang ako ay abalang nagtetext sa may EDSA Taft habang nakatigil ang bus. Hinablot ang aking telepono at nadala ang aking kamay ngunit nabitawan ko rin iyon agad dahil mabilis syang tumakbo pababa ng bus. Ang mga katagang “my phone!” lamang ang lumabas sa aking bibig sa tonong pasigaw na pahina na sa dulo dala ng panghihinayang na hindi ko pa naii-send ang aking isinusulat na mensahe. Hindi ko alam kung san sya nanggaling ngunit ang tanong sa akin ng mga nakakita sa pangyayari ay kung kakilala ko raw ang humablot ng aking telepono. Ayon sa lalaking nasa aking likuran, nakamasid na raw ang lalaki sa akin at nang huminto ang bus ay tsaka umaksyon ng mabilis.
 
Ramdam ko na nga talaga ang kapaskuhan. Marami na ang nangangailangan ng pera kaya dumarami na rin ang mga masasamang loob kung saan-saan. Isang paalala at leksyon mula sa pangyayari: maging alerto sa lahat ng oras kung ikaw ay nasa pampublikong lugar. Bawal ang tatanga-tanga dahil ang mundo ay isang malaking quiapo, maraming snatcher, maaagawan ka!
 
Ito lamang ang aking masasabi sa lalaking nagnakaw ng aking telepono:
 

Merry Christmas sa iyo! Nawa ay makinabang ka at ang pamilya mo sa ginawa mong katarantaduhan sa akin at sa mga bibiktimahin mo pa sa hinaharap. Huwag mong tatangkain gamitin ang aking telepono upang may pantustos ka sa bisyo mong droga, alak o kung anu mang luho dahil isinusumpa kong hindi ka magiging masaya dahil sa magkakaroon ka ng alipunga sa mukha at pigsa sa tabi ng iyong labi.
 
Isa kang malaking paksyet! At isa pang malutong na pakyu!

Up until today, I have not gotten any replacement for I am still saving up. Now that my friend and my sister is using an Android phone, I longed for one.

I’m gonna get one next year, kahit Wildfire S lang, okey na ko dun.

Have I been busy? I don't know. Maybe I have not really paid that much attention here. I haven't even opened my Google Reader either where I read the blogs on my list.

So what brought me here in writing today? Boredom. Yes. It looks like we have nothing to do here the whole afternoon at work so I am trying to practice my writing skills (the basic ones I know).

What happened to me when I was away form here?

I met this guy last September. He is now one of my closest friends who lives in Makati. We have been seeing and talking talking to each other very often and exchanging text messages everyday. We're just friends though.

Another new thing about me is that I moved to my new employer last month. I think I am now getting the air of working in the day and I am enjoying it. I honestly feel like a normal person and I feel like I am now part of the society. I still work in a call center but with a totally different set-up that I really like: I am not receiving/taking in calls and I work in the day and not at night in addition to the Saturday-Sunday time off/rest day.

With the new schedule that I have been enjoying, I was not able to monitor the days. Time flew so fast that December is here again and so I am reminded that Christmas is near. Now I am catching up on buying my gifts for my family and some friends. Another thing is that I will be celebrating Christmas again with the blessing of singlehood.

Ehem…

There is nothing really to compare as to the past Christmases that I had because I have celebrated it without a partner ever since. It's not that I am complaining or even wishing, It's just that I want to experience something different during this season. I hope I am not asking that much, am I?

There is just one thing I don't like about this month: getting one year older. I hope I am getting older and wiser but I am not so sure about the latter as it don't seem to show.
